Whoa. I’ve been working on this project for months, and I’m finally ready to start sharing it!

The following is a list of Luke and Lorelai centric fan fiction offerings, sorted by approximate time in the series. It’s a CURATED list, not exhaustive. That means that I read about 2000+ stories about this couple and sorted them and rated them based on a few things: readability, adherence to major canonical themes (Luke won’t be saying Lor in any of these stories unless I screwed up somewhere), and relevance to the JavaJunkie ship fandom. Not all of these stories are purely romantic, there are some fluffy friendship tales in here too.

I welcome suggestions and corrections! Just don’t be sad if the fic you love doesn’t make it to the list. I have reasons, I promise!

Oh, and I chose to only include COMPLETED stories in this list, because there’s nothing worse than starting a great story and being super invested and having it stop suddenly before the ending (The Substitute, I’m looking at you). The only exception to that would be multiple story epics, and I include sequels even if unfinished. At least the first story must be complete, though.
